Project 2

Still

For our project 2, we had to do a surrealistic image. I came up with a few ideas but I decided to do a hamster. It was kind of a pun on hamster and ham.
Fig. 1.1: Hamster.
Fig. 1.2: Ham.
After finding the appropriate picture of a hamster and ham with the right angle, I got to work.
Fig. 1.3: First trial.
I tried meshing the ham and hamster together but it didn't look good, which I identified the reasons it looked weird to be: color difference, the hamster and ham aren't 'meshed' properly. For Fig. 1.3, I lowered the saturation of the ham but this time I decided to increase the saturation of the hamster.

Fig. 1.4: Trial two.
I showed Mr. Martin my work, but he said it did not look surrealistic. So I removed the front part of the ham.

Fig. 1.5: Submitted still.
In truth, it still doesn't really look surrealistic, but by that time I felt that it was too late to make a new one.
